Meet Jetta! This beautiful girl was born in our rescue to Momma Roxie in October of 2009. She was adopted by a wonderful family that would do ANYTHING for her! You see, Jetta has a congenital defect of her front tibias (upper part of her front legs) that are too long. It is very painful for her to walk. They love her so much!! In fact they have already sought multiple opinions, traveled to Manhattan for 2 surgeries for Jetta, and spent over $4,000 for this sweet, amazing girl!
However, one surgery was not completely successful. Jetta is currently on pain medication and anti-inflammatory meds that are hurting her stomach causing her to vomit daily. She has become very uncomfortable and she is only 17 months old. If she does not have the surgery re-done, the vet has told her that it would be best to put her down so she does not live in misery. The family cannot afford another surgery and we want to help! It is only $1500 and I know we can raise that!!
